VP RACING FUELS CONFIRMED AS HEADLINE SPONSOR FOR 'FINALS WEEKEND' RACE MEETING
VP Racing Fuels has been announced as the headline sponsor for what promises to be a thrilling end to Castle Combe Circuit’s 2020 racing calendar – the ‘Finals Weekend’ double-header meeting that descends on the Wiltshire race track on 19-20 September.
The two-day event, dubbed the VP Racing Fuels Finals Weekend, will play host to climactic final races from all of the venue’s fiercely fought home series, offering a thrilling end to what can only be described as a turbulent year for motorsport.
Already the circuit’s official fuel partner for 2019 and 2020, VP Racing Fuels is now recognised by many as the world leader in race fuel technology, with a range of fuels, fuel additives and consumer products suitable for virtually any type of motorsport or tuning application. This latest move by the company serves to illustrate the brand’s commitment to club racing in the UK and its close relationship with Combe.
Castle Combe Circuit’s Sales and Marketing Director, Tom Davis, was positive about the news. “We’re very pleased to be working closer than ever alongside VP Racing Fuels to offer an exciting ending to a very difficult year of racing. We’re proud to have such a good relationship with a company that is so well regarded for its service, quality and strong, supported supply chains.”
- Finals Weekend will take place at Castle Combe Circuit on 19-20 September. We are currently working on a plan with the local authorities and our safety advisors to potentially allow a small number of pre-booked spectators to this event on a test basis. There will be a number of restrictions in place to keep all participants safe. Check our website for further updates – www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk
- This weekend is followed by the Autumn Classic historic race meeting on 3-4 October, which sees several guest classic car race meetings head to the venue. As above, we are planning to open to a limited number of pre-booked spectators, but there will be no access to the paddock, no paddock displays and no parades – this will be purely a race weekend.
