Shipping Policy

 

Our estimated dispatch time is shown on our ’Order Confirmation’. Where products are showing as ’In Stock’, we normally dispatch on the same working day providing your order is placed before 12pm. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following working day. If your product is ’Not In Stock’, we will email you with an estimated delivery time. Please contact us if you need a shipment sending out after 12pm and we will try to accommodate.

UK DELIVERY – NON FUEL

Charges are based on the weight or sizes of the item in your basket. We offer standard and express delivery options which can be selected when you check out. The Royal Mail shipping options do not include tracking. We suggest using the next day tracked courier shipping option where applicable.

UK DELIVERY – FUEL

Fuel orders are sent using the Haz Chem Network. Due to the nature of the goods, tracking information cannot be provided and all shipments must be signed for on arrival. Shipping is a 3-5 day service with an option for a next day service. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any orders that may be delayed in transit. Single drums will be shipped as a parcel, while 2 or more drums will be shipped on a pallet.

CLICK AND COLLECT IN OUR COVENTRY STORE

This new service is available to select at checkout. Payment will be taken during checkout. Goods will be ready to collect TWO hours after placing the order, providing your order is placed before 2.30pm. Orders placed after this time will be available for collection the next working morning. We request a  2 hour window as some goods are stored offsite.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly, so we can make a claim against the courier. All courier deliveries must be signed for.

If you are not available to accept your order, further re-delivery of your goods shall be charged at the original carriage fee plus a return charge which will be taken from the same credit or debit card used to place the order.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault, e.g. if goods are faulty or mis- described.

You can cancel your contract before delivery, to do this, please email, write, or phone us. We will refund your money, including the original postage charges, within 30 days. If you cancel, notification must be given to us within 7 working days. Goods must be returned to us at your own expense. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when returning items, so you should take out appropriate insurance cover to meet the value of the goods.

Unsuitable goods may be returned for refund, credit, or exchange, if they are returned to Old Hall Performance within 7 days of receipt. Subject to the following conditions:

 

  • Items must be returned carriage paid.
  • Notification must be given to Old Hall us prior to the return of the goods.
  • Items are received in a resalable condition.
  • Items must be returned unused in their original condition to secure a refund.
  • Items are returned complete with all packaging in good condition.
  • We reserve the right to levy a charge to replace product packaging which is damaged.
  • All returns are to be accompanied by the sender’s name and address and Reference number.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for undelivered returned parcels, please retain proof of postage.
  • In any circumstance within 7 days of you receiving the goods. This is your right to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. However, if you are cancelling your contract with us under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you will need to return the goods to us at your expense
  • You must obtain a Reference Number before returning any goods. Please contact us for this.

SHORTAGES & DAMAGE

Please contact us with any problems with shortages or carrier damage within 5 days of receipt. We regret that beyond this time, due to circumstances beyond our control we will be unable to process you’re claim.

FAULTY GOODS

If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us to discuss the matter further. If the goods are found to be faulty within a reasonable time after delivery, you may reject them and claim a full refund.

LIABILITY

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are the correct fitment or application. We cannot accept responsibility for additional charges or consequential loss incurred if a product does not fit or does not give the desired results. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the goods only.
